I don't usually leave reviews so I'm not sure what else to say other than you won't regret buying this tool! Especially since you will spend more after a gunsmith installs a set of sites for you. go to YouTube And read all the hype about her, she really does a great job! After using it a few times now I would gladly pay double what I did.
I ordered this along with a set of truglo brite tfx sites. After Lenny demonstrated it in one of his videos, I began to change my own appearance. And let me tell you, I had no problem. This is one great tool no lie. Removed the FACTORY view and installed the performance without a single problem. Many have.

I found this viewing tool to be great. It works well does what you need and the price is right.
So far, I've only used this once to remove original sight and install night sights. This really works well and pays for itself after one use, instead of paying for setup. It works so well, I'd like to use it more often, but for now I don't need to replace any other sights. The instructions are good and easy to follow and the design of the storage pack was well thought out. Plus, it's nice to see such well-made equipment. Like just looking at a well made gun.
Used it to replace my G20 rear sight with a Hi-Viz Lightwave H30. This sight thruster was cheap, but very solidly built. And the Hi-viz fits very well in the rear sight channel slide, so I'm glad I had this big push frame to grip and get enough leverage to turn the knob and get the job done. But it's still small and light enough that you can easily take it anywhere and do the job away from home, like helping replace a friend's rear view. It didn't leave a mark on my slip. I've been replacing my sights for a while before I got this tool, but now I'm actually looking forward to upgrading my G40 and my future G21 sights as well. Probably the best possible value in visual posters around. This purchase makes me feel smart and satisfied!

I used this to replace the sights on my G22 and G27 with the Trijicon HD's. The tool worked, but it wasn't easy. Removing the sights was a snap; a few turns of the knob and the old sights were out. Installing the new ones, however, was a chore. I had to use a wrench to get the necessary leverage and I don't know how Lenny was able to do it with his hands. I guess I wouldn't want to meet him in a dark alley. Even with the wrench, it was still a real chore and the handle of the tool was pretty well chewed up by the wrench. In any case it did the job and I strongly recommend this useful tool.

I purchased one of these sights several years ago for use on my various caliber Glocks. I installed several night sights and it was an extremely easy procedure. Well worth the small investment. Having never installed night sights, it took me less than 10 minutes. Using it in conjunction with a $9 digital caliper to make sure I had equal distance on both sides of the sliding sight channel, I consistently set my sights accurately without having to fire. When I did a test fire it was perfectly canceled on the target. It comes in a very nice padded zipper box. It is quality built with tight tolerances.. no sloppy play in adjustment. There are several videos on YouTube that show you how easy it is to use this tool. I highly recommend this tool.
I have been using one of these for over two years on various types of pistols. It works very well. The only comments I could make are: slowly, if the sight does not move, make sure there is no set screw as sometimes happens. If it still won't budge, try some heat from a heat gun as some Loc-Tite is sometimes used. Put some oil on the threads of the tool - it makes a big difference. If possible, attach the tool to your workbench. I have mine mounted on a heavy block of wood that I can attach to a woodworking vise on my bench (the woodworking vise works better for me for this than a bench vise because I can hold my work closer to the surface of the bench). I have had no negative experiences and apart from losing one of the plastic blocks behind my counter no other problems (the block was replaced free of charge). I would buy again.

After watching Lenny's video on the tool, actually using it was very easy! I removed the back of my G17 Gen5 in no more than 5 minutes. I thought I splurged until I got to work with the SI G.U.M that uses the back row. It would have been nice to use the tool to center the plate, but the plate is wider than the piece that pushes the rear sight. That's right!
For the money this is the best option available. The quality is excellent. It worked perfectly on my G48 which I switched to Ameriglo iDot Night Sights. I watched Lenny's video several times because this was the first time I started the look on my own. Very satisfied!
Great, great tool worth every penny! Easy to use, (be sure to lock the screw threads before using!) If I had ANY helpful suggestions, I would say that the top piece in the screw should also have a marked 'CENTRE' mark, for easier lining with the blue frame (which is marked). I used a set of calipers and made my center mark with a great pencil. Other than that, 100% satisfied with the quality of the product!

A damn good tool at a lower cost than those elsewhere. Very strong and holds the slider in place while the sight moves. It is a good buy for sure. These instructions explain how to replace the front and rear sights on a Glock 19 Gen 5 pistol. We use some AmeriGlo Spartan Tactical Operator Sights but the procedure is similar for other sights.
